The main characters, Shallistera and Shallote, are bound together by the threads of fate as they fight to save their hometown, which is facing a severe drought. They put their trust in the powers of alchemy, but their journey is not without danger. Through their experiences and growing friendship, their lives will be changed forever. In keeping with the series focus on choice, players will be able to follow the story through two different protagonists, each with their own skills, narrative, and adventures. The game world has been significantly expanded with larger areas and an even wider variety of resources and materials to collect.A new system called the Life Task System makes it easier to keep track of tasks and objectives. Depending on how the player chooses to play, the games progression will change for example, a combat-focused approach will lead to more combat-related tasks. The world, monsters, and items dynamically adapt, creating a unique gameplay experience. These life tasks are essential, and failure to complete them will have consequences.Featuring the multiple endings that the series is known for, an unforgettable RPG experience awaits in Atelier Shallie: Alchemist of the Dusk Sea!
